“When you approach the confessional, know this: that I Myself am waiting there for you. I am only hidden by the priest, but I myself act in your soul. Here, the misery of the soul meets the God of mercy.”

A Very Special Thank You!

St. Catherine’s, Knights of Columbus officers want to
express our heart-felt appreciation to all those
parishioners, family members and friends who made our
Valentine’s Day raffle a tremendous success. You may not
be aware that your local Knights council provides monetary
support to the Parish by awarding scholarships, supporting
Diocesan Seminarians, contributing to the annual Pro-Life
March in Washington, and contributing to Parish campaign
and maintenance projects.

Due to social distancing requirements, we have been
unable to prepare our “delicious” annual fund-raising
dinners. Your generosity will allow us to continue our
Charity. Again, congratulations to the three St Valentine’s
Day 50/50 raffle winners who split $3,750 in prize money
Thank you all from the Knights of Columbus raffle
coordinators.

St. Catherine Christmas Mass Schedule and Concerns with Covid-19

Dear St. Catherine Parishioners,

Limited seating in the church will be adhered to for every Mass as per state law.

Our Christmas Mass schedule is as follows:

Christmas Eve        4:00 PM

                                    5:30 PM

                                    7:00 PM

                                    Midnight

Christmas Day        8:00 AM

                                    10:00 AM

Please Note:

1.   Due to concerns with Covid-19, all Masses will have limited seating in the church as per state law. Ushers will be seating parishioners in a first-come, first-seated manner. It is recommended that parishioners try to arrive 15 minutes before Mass begins.

2.   This is the tough one for all of us – Once maximum Mass attendance has been reached, we will, unfortunately, be forced to close the doors to the church upstairs as per state law

3.   There will be a limited “overflow” allowance at each Mass with seating downstairs. The Mass will be televised on a monitor and Communion will be offered to those parishioners who are seated downstairs. Masks that cover the nose and mouth, hand sanitizing, and social distancing will still be adhered to. Parishioners can request Communion before the Mass is started and leave the church to watch the televised Mass on Facebook at home.

4.   The Covid-19 health standard of wearing masks that cover the nose and mouth and sanitizing hands upon entry to the church will be adhered to by all.

5.   Seating at Mass will be adjusted by ushers for maximum safety and capacity. Please accommodate the ushers if they ask you to move to another pew to maximize this effort.

6.   There will be a virtual, live televised Mass at 4:00 PM on FaceBook (FB), which can be viewed at any time for your convenience.

7.   All Knights of Columbus members are asked to please assist with ushering duties at all Masses. It is requested that you announce your presence and aid the ushers in the narthex.

8.   Please remember, this is a very special time of the year for all of us. We have been through a lot during 2020. We sincerely hope that we can all pray together as a parish family, for patience and for God to bless each and every one of us. Merry Christmas!
