I can’t believe it’s already July. Time is just going by so quickly. As we celebrate this weekend the birth of our nation, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends. Holidays are special times when we can enjoy one another’s company in a relaxing setting. Whether we are home, at the beach, or in the mountains, we have an opportunity to slow down. So much goes by us so quickly. Pause. Stop. Look around. See the presence of God in nature, in the people who are special to you and the gifts that were so freely given to us by the Lord who loves us.
July and August is vacation time, so again I remind you about attending Mass during your vacation time. There are Catholic Churches in every city, town, and vacation resorts. If you are looking for a Catholic Church where you are vacationing, there is a website: www.MassTimes.org that lists every Church in the United States with a map of location, Mass times, and telephone numbers.
God has blessed us with the opportunity to go on vacation and to have a good time. At the same time, we need to be renewed in His love constantly and strengthened by the graces He gives us. Please drive safely and remember to pray and ask God’s blessings upon your journey and vacations. Enjoy your vacations and may God be with you.
God Bless,
