On Sunday, September 17th, we held our Annual Parish Picnic. It succeeded again in its primary goal of socializing with our faith community and was made possible by Debbie and Rich Fass, with the help of Lori Young and the Stewardship Committee.
We’d like to thank the following parishioners who dedicated their time, efforts, and generous donations to another successful, St. Catherine of Siena Annual Picnic 2023.
The Colalillo family and the Clinton Shop-Rite for their generous donation of hot dogs, hamburgers, cheese, rolls, and waters, and Tony Rocha and Ken Mandoli for the pickup.
JD’s Liquors for their generous donation of the ice and birch beer keg and Bourbon Street Liquors for the ice and thank you to Bill Smith for the pickup.
Kona Ice for their very generous donation of the ice cream truck.
Ali and Brad Patkochis for arranging the ice cream truck and supplying us with tables from the Quakertown Fire Department.
Franklin Township Public works for providing us with trash cans and liners.
Dr. D and Byron and Dena Brisby for providing his wonderful entertainment.
Our talent show participants and wonderful performances, and Charlotte Letko, our program assistant.
George Mahaffey and his crew for managing the field preparation.
The volunteers who helped set up on Saturday and early Sunday morning.
Carey Kopf for the tablecloth set up and to Donna Cahill for the table decorations.
Nan Kubian for helping with the creation and printing of our picnic tickets and sign-up sheets. Mark Kubian for being our liaison between the picnic committee and the Knights.
The Knights of Columbus for the setup of the tents, tables, chairs, and shed preparation.
Bill Smith for his help with getting the golf cart for Bishop Paul.
Bishop Paul for making our day special with your presence at our picnic.
Deacon Dennis and Dawn Salerno for being such good sports under the Splash Tower!!
Doreen Opeikun for making our signs.
Dawn Salerno for coordinating with our very helpful youth group volunteers.
Lori Young for her wonderful work with the children and their crafts.
Shelly Halvorsen for her assistance with the accounting and running on the day of the picnic.

Tee Andersen and her food servers, Tom Murray and his grillers, Pete Walters and his cold drink specialties, Teri Sacca,l and Kristi Boyle for the dessert/coffee tables, Mary Mitariten, and her crew for the appetizer table, Sue and Joe Quick and their entry tent volunteers and the 50/50 sales crew, Meredith, Joseph, Christian and Joan Santoianni for running the kids’ tent and our ticket sellers after all the Masses.
