Picnic THANK YOU

On Sunday, September 18th, we held our Annual Parish Picnic.  It succeeded again in its primary goal of socializing with our faith community and was made possible by Debbie and Rich Fass, with the help of Lori Young and the Stewardship Committee.

Thank you to the Colalillo family and the Clinton ShopRite for their generous donation of hot dogs, hamburgers, rolls, and waters, and to Ken Mandoli and Tony Rocha for arranging the pickup.

Thank you to Carol Rocha for organizing our Silent Auction with the help of Sandra Kopka and everyone who donated to the auction.

Thank you to George Mahaffey for being our ground supervisor, game setup, and the many other tasks he willingly did for the smooth running of the picnic.

Thank you to Byron and Dena Brisby for sponsoring Dr D and thank you to Dr D for being our Master of Ceremonies.

Thank you to Nan Kubian for the helping with the creation and printing of our picnic tickets.

Thank you to Katharine Lawrence, Meredith Joseph, Marybeth Madlinger, and Ali Patkochis for helping licensing, e-mail blasts, Signup Genius, the appetizer table, and general assistance.

Thank you to Bill Smith, Bob Keeling, and the Knights of Columbus for helping with the setup of the tents, tables, and chairs.

Thank you to Rob Preston for the photography/videography.

Thank you to Lori and Dave Wunder, Dave Barthel, Eddie Wojtal for volunteering to be our game supervisors.

Thank you to our food servers, cold drinks, grillers, 50/50 salespeople and ticket sellers after all the Masses.

Thank you to our numerous middle schoolers for your participation and bringing joy to the younger ones.

Thank you to Kona Ice for supplying the flavored shaved ice, and JD’s & Bourbon Street for the ice and birch beer keg.

Thank you to the Franklin Township Fire Department and Public Works for providing us with tables, trashcans, and liners.

Thank you to the picnic committee who attended all the meetings and volunteered without hesitation to help with anything that was needed to make this picnic a huge success.

And last, but not least, thank you to all the others volunteers not mentioned above—from crafts/face painting to adult/children’s games and activities.  All are truly appreciated. We are grateful to you in making the picnic another success in our parish life.
