Picnic — Thank You

On Sunday, September 29th, we held our Annual Fall Picnic, made special this year as we gathered as a parish family back at the Church.  It succeeded again in its primary goal of socializing with our faith community and it was made possible by each and every one of you. 

Thank you to ShopRite, once again, for their generous food donation of hot dogs, hamburgers and rolls.  Thank you to Carol & Antonio Rocha for picking up the items and delivering them to the Church.

Also, thanks again to Phil and Diane Koury of McDonalds for their donation of cups, paper products and the use of their jugs.  Bill Smith, thank you, for arranging for this donation once again as well as procuring the use of a golf cart to help drive people around the picnic.

Our special thanks to the members of the Picnic Committee for their organization, especially Patti Longordo and Debbie Fass and the members of our Stewardship Committee.

We are always deeply grateful to Ken Mandoli, our master of ceremonies.

Thanks to Mike Iannozzi, Mike Romanak and crew for organizing and running the soccer kick-off for our youth.  Also, many thanks to our 50/50 ticket sellers, Diane Corrigan, Dan Dawson, and Robin Potempa.

Thank you to our numerous 8th grade confirmation candidates for your help and presence with us.

This event relies on the constant and ready volunteers of the men from the Knights of Columbus for their help with set-up, clean-up and manning the grills.  Also, thanks to members of our Rosary Society, especially Janise Nelson and Donna Baker for running the ice-cream stand.

And last, but not least, thank you to all the others volunteers not mentioned above–from grilling to crafts/face painting to adult/children games and activities.  All are truly appreciated.  We are grateful to you in making the picnic another success in our parish life.
