Picnic THANK YOU

On Sunday September 30th we held our Annual Fall Picnic. It succeeded again in its primary goal of socializing with our faith community and it was made possible by each and every one of you.

Thank you to Shop Rite for their generous food donation of hot dogs, hamburgers and water. Also, thank you to Phil & Diane Koury of McDonalds for their donation of cups, paper products and the use of their jugs.

Our special thanks to the members of the Picnic Committee, including Chris Wade and Debbie Fass as well as members of our Stewardship Committee.

We are also deeply grateful to Ken Mandoli, our master of ceremonies.

Thank you to Mike Iannozzi and crew for the soccer kick- off for our youth. Also, thank you to our 50/50 ticket sellers, Diane Corrigan and Robin Potempa.

This event relies on the constant and ready volunteers of the men from the Knights of Columbus. Thank you to Knights Pete Walter, Wayne Backenberg and Mike Marion for manning the burger and dog grills. Also, thank you to Knights Wayne Hartmann and Pat Dziubek and crew for transporting tables and chairs from St. Edward’s Parish in Milford. Many thanks to the Knights of Columbus for the “always popular beer garden”.

Along with the Knights, we would like to thank members of our Rosary Society for also helping with grilling the burgers and dogs. Thank you to the LaTournous family and the use of their tent which provided shade and cover for the fabulous homemade dishes and desserts that were passed and enjoyed by all.

And last, but not least, thank you to all the other volunteers not mentioned above but truly appreciated. We are grateful to you in making the picnic another success in our parish life.
