You can help by either cooking a dinner meal; spending time at the shelter or donating ShopRite gift cards, which are used to help pay for the meals that are prepared.

The Knights of Columbus coordinate a signup sheet for Eucharistic Adoration, which is held on the first Friday of each month. All parishioners are invited to spend a half an hour (or more) in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.

What is Eucharistic Adoration?

Here’s how Catholic-Church.org describes it:

Understood simply, Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honouring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves “the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us.”

The online signup for is available here. Adoration is held on the first Friday of each month from three to seven p.m. in the Parish Center.

Camp St. Catherine 2018

Registration is open for Camp St. Catherine 2018!

Mighty FortressRegistration for Camp St. Catherine 2018 is now open. Camp will be held from July 9-13 at the Parish Center.

Here’s what the campers can expect, according to the email sent to parents:

  • A week of fun (and a little free time for parents)! Camp starts at 9 a.m. at the Parish Center and pick up is 12:30 p.m.
  • Campers will be assigned a mentor (an older kid) to stay with them and go with them from station to station. There will be Bible Stories, games, arts and crafts, music, and a snack every day.
  • The Quakertown Fire Department will come one day during the week and the kids will have a blast running through the fire hose spray. They will have team competitions and there are always lots of prizes at the end of the week!

In addition to campers, older kids are needed as camp counselors. Volunteering is a great way for teens to earn service time. Forms are available for download below and can be dropped off at the parish center during the week from 9:30 to 2:30pm, following any Mass, or mailed to P.O. Box 245, Pittstown, NJ 08867, Attention:  Judy La Tournous
