Meals on Wheels drivers needed

Meals on WheelsMeals on Wheels needs your help! As one of the last meal delivery programs in New Jersey to depend solely on volunteer drivers, new drivers are always needed. By committing approximately two hours—once a month—you can make a big difference in the lives of Hunterdon County’s homebound seniors by delivering hot, nutritious lunches.

For more information call Meals on Wheels at 908- 284-0735, visit their website at mowih.org, or email info@mowih.org.

Special Collection this weekend to benefit Haitian Relief

Source de VieBefore the earthquake, Haiti had been described as one of the poorest countries on the face of the earth. After the earthquake, it became the poorest country on earth. Next weekend, through the Annual Mission Cooperative Appeal, we welcome Deacon Enock Berluche who will speak with us on behalf of the people of Haiti and the Source de Vie Community in Allentown. Source de Vie means “Source of Life.”

Funds are needed for projects to help the community in Haiti become self-sufficient. Hear the story, understand the plea. Your generous financial support for the Haitian people will be greatly appreciated.

Don’t forget your ShopRite gift cards

ShopRite Gift Cards are available for purchase after each Mass and from the church business office during the week. Use the cards during your regular shopping trips—it’s a great way to support parish programs at no cost you. Simply use the card to pay for any purchase and any remaining balance stays on the card.

Cards are offered in denominations of $25, $50, and $100, and 5% of every sale goes to the parish as fundraising for our programs to help those in need.

Clothing donations

Help others, save the planet with your used clothing

Thinking about cleaning out the closets for Summer? Clothing donation bins are located at the Parish Center parking lot. Your clothing donations will be shipped throughout the US, Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.

For the use of our Parish Center site, we will receive a monthly payment of $100 for each bin. As we help others by donating clothing, we also help our Parish gain funds toward our Building Campaign.

Read this article from Daily Inbox to learn how donating your used clothing can make a big difference in helping those in need and saving the planet.

Crane and trusses

Expansion Gallery Seven: The sky’s the limit

A giant crane made a dramatic site as it lifted trusses for the new roof into place. Parishioner Rich Kopf shared these photos from the scene, which we’ve included in a new photo gallery available here and on the TV in the parish hall narthex.

All previous galleries are still available:
