Thank You For Christmas
I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard in decorating and preparing our church for Christmas. Many people have told me how much they enjoyed the Christmas Services.
Thank you to Lisa and the choir, Glenn Ricketts our organists: they all make our services and liturgies throughout Advent and Christmas so special and prayerful for all of us.
Thank you to our children and their parents. What a great job our children and Jennifer Dunn did Christmas Eve with their Pageant. I was so proud of them. It was a lot of work; we appreciate all you did for our Parish.
Thank you to our Ministry Heads and all the Ministers: Rob Preston for coordinating all our Readers; John-Joseph Bober for coordinating our Extraordinary Ministers of Eucharist; and Cecile Sabatino for coordinating our Altar Servers; Rich Kopf for coordinating the Ushers; and our Sacristans Carol Way at the Parish Center and Maureen Fugazzi at the church.
Thank you to two people who always are at work in the background. Donna and Kevin Cahill who run back and forth between the church and the parish center to change over all these wonderful liturgical decorations and adornments. I wish to also thank all those who helped them with the decorations for Advent and Christmas; especially: Erin & Kathy Worbs, Carey Kopf, Margaret Rocca, Bill Smith and the Knights of Columbus, and, Herman & Liz Martin.
To the Rosarians who every year set up the Giving Trees to help remind us of those in need especially during Christmas.
Special thanks to the Knights of Columbus, who provided us with this year's Christmas gift to each family. Please take the time to read the book. It is about how we have forgotten our mission to become saints and forgotten our story as Catholics. We must rediscover that mission and hold each other accountable to accepting responsibility for that mission.
On personal note, I want to thank everyone for your cards, gifts and prayers during this Christmas season and this year. May God bless you and your loved ones this Christmas season and throughout the New Year.
