The Exaltation of the Holy Cross

The Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, which we celebrate today, has roots in the historical triumph of Christianity. It commemorates the fourth-century discovery of the True Cross by Saint Helena, the mother of Emperor Constantine. Yet, more than this historical event, the feast celebrates the ultimate triumph of the Cross itself. A symbol of execution and shame was transformed into the source of our salvation.

Just as Christ embraced his Cross, we too are called to accept the burdens and sufferings in our own lives, not with despair, but with faith and hope. (Read more…)

New Board of Trustees

Dear Parishioners,

I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on all that Mr. Lawrence Remaly and Mr. James Young did in their service as a St. Catherine of Siena Trustees and let them know that the parishioners and I appreciate their dedication to this important role of Trustees of our Parish.
