As members of the parish of St. Catherine of Siena Church, we share a variety of things in common. Participation and expression of our Catholic beliefs in the Holy Mass, the sacraments and religious holidays are what bond us together as a spiritual community. In addition, we choose to educate our children in these beliefs through our Religious Ed program and share our Catholic community environment through countless programs, social events and ministries.

The origins of all this date back to the enormous generosity of the Raymonds family when they selflessly donated the land and financial backing to build our church and subsequently bestowed their family home and property which now serves as our rectory. In fulfillment of the Raymonds' original vision, many have been drawn to our parish community and as a result, St. Catherine's has grown significantly over the years.

This brings us to where we are today. We are at a critical crossroads. After much discussion, research and data collection, our community has expressed a strong desire to expand our original church building. The surveys, focus groups and town hall meetings that have been recently conducted provided us some baseline indications that our parish community is willing to financially support this undertaking. However, such general information cannot be the basis of making such an important decision. As such, we would like to make a rather pointed and bold request. We are asking all parishioners to carefully and prayerfully consider what degree of financial support they are willing to commit to this project. A more solid financial projection is the only way we will know whether the expansion of our church can take place or not.

We ask that EVERY family return the enclosed reply (regardless of donation size, as all amounts will be most gratefully received) or complete the online form below so a decision can be made to move forward or not.

Should it be determined that our parish has sufficient financial commitment and can move forward, a committee person will be in touch regarding your intention. Should there be insufficient financial backing for the project, the Parish Steering Committee will communicate that as well.

As always, thank you for your involvement with our parish and again, we ask ALL to provide us the information needed to make this critical decision; your individual response is very much appreciated and will influence this decision for our parish.
